In keeping with the principle of ‘Only the best is good enough’, LEGO Group accepted the challenge and converted one of the supercars from Molsheim into a LEGO® Technic™ set. The result was the LEGO Technic™ Bugatti Chiron. It unites the iconic traditional design of the French luxury car brand with elements of LEGO Technic™ with precision and refinement, making it the expression of a perfect combination.
The LEGO Technic™ Bugatti Chiron
The 1:8 scale LEGO Technic™ Bugatti Chiron model is over 56 cm long, 25 cm wide and 14 cm high. In a nod to the history of the Bugatti brand, the two blue tones are a perfect reflection of the unmistakable signature colour of the brand. Prominent stickers for additional detailing add to the authenticity of the model. It consists of 3,599 pieces and is packed full of intricate details and immersive touches.
The LEGO Technic™ Bugatti Chiron features aerodynamic bodywork with an active rear wing, spoked rims with low-profile tyres and the legendary W16 engine with moving pistons. The set also features a speed key which enables you to switch the active rear wing from handling to top speed position.
Open the doors to discover an exact replica of the cockpit with a moving paddle gearshift. It also features the LEGO Technic™ 8-speed gearbox and a steering wheel bearing the iconic Bugatti emblem. Hidden discreetly in the boot, you will also discover an additional authentic Bugatti Chiron detail – the stylish Bugatti weekender bag.
Every model has a unique serial number underneath the boot lid which grants you access to special content on https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/technic. For a final touch, the set is supplied in a high-quality box which also contains an exclusive collector’s colour booklet with detailed assembly instructions. Fans can also look into the creation of the model in more detail with nine exciting podcasts featuring experts from Bugatti and LEGO Technic.
